Bat Benefits
The 271 turn of this MLB Prime youth bat is quite similar to a 110 turn model, but it provides a bit more of an end-loaded feel thanks to the slightly quicker taper from the barrel to the handle. The barrel is a lot more defined in this bat, so younger players can focus on generating more power when they make contact. This MLB Prime Y271 maple wood bat is a great choice for power and contact hitters alike. The maple wood provides a higher density and increased hardness on contact, and this version features deep red and electric blue colors with red branding to help it stand out from other bats. Like all other MLB Prime youth bats, this Louisville Slugger bat has seamless decals and an EXOARMOR finish that provides extra hardness to minimize breakage and creates that satisfying crack when players make contact.

Pros:
Beautiful finish, really good looking color combination.
Cons:
Super fragile, as my 11 year old broke two of these in the same spot within about 10 days. The first one was purchased at the Slugger factory in 5/2019, but wasn't used until the opening of this season as we lost last year to COVID. Second one purchased from here on justbats.com on 4/1/2021. They both cracked from just above the tape on the handle, and the break ran about 4 or 5 inches up. Both broke while hitting regulation Little League baseballs.

All defective Bats, excluding demos, are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Warranties vary, but most Bats will have a warranty for one year from the date of purchase. Any defective Bats must be returned directly to the manufacturer. Manufacturers will require a receipt for all returns. If you have lost your receipt, please message us.
Your complete satisfaction is our goal. There is no time frame that unused items in their original condition may be returned for an exchange or refund.
