Description
This set provides everything needed for the construction of a RGB LED cube display. This is a DIY kit and as such will arrive unsoldered. The kit makes ideal practice for hand soldering while resulting in a bright and bold display. The kit includes all structural elements and an illustrated guide for construction as well as some example code once complete. The example program is only the beginning, from there you can move into more complex displays, such as notifications of emails or telling the time.
Based on the ATmega328P chipset the microcontroller is the entry level Arduino-compatible board (colorduino). Featuring a socket for a AC-DC adapter that can power the board and supply more current then available from the USB connection. The adapter should be 9 - 12V DC, 250mA or more, have a centre pin positive 2.1mm plug.
