    Description

    Round cut natural black boulder opal.  Stone has colors of blue, green, yellow, and orange/pink in a mosaic pattern with blocks of color set closely together. This is a very lively stone, in the "fine" category of black opal.
    - The first two photos were taken in direct sunlight, the remainder were taken later in the day to show the changes in the colors of the stone.
    - Weight is 2.25 cts.
    - Dimensions are 5 mm wide x 2.6 mm deep.
    - Stone has never been used or set in a piece of jewelry.  This opal is in the original stone paper from 1966.
    - The orientation of the dime in the pictures indicates front and back sides of the stone.
